3. Purpose of the event
During the event, photos and videos will be taken. These images will show individual participants or groups who are not the main focus of the picture. Media representatives and their and our event partners may publish these recordings for public information purposes. This includes, in particular, publication on the organizers' websites and social media channels (LinkedIn, XING, Facebook, Instagram) as well as in print media.
4. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for taking photographs and videos and publishing event photos is your consent, Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR.

6. Transfer of personal data to a third country
Generally, personal data collected and generated during the provision of relevant products and services is stored on our servers within the European Union. However, since the providers of our software solutions offer their products and/or services based on available resources and servers worldwide, your personal data may be transferred to or accessed from jurisdictions outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. In particular, personal data is transferred to the USA, a third country within the meaning of Article 15(2) of the GDPR. To ensure the continued existence of the necessary level of protection when transferring data to a third country, contractual measures are in place for this purpose. The software provider is headquartered in the United States of America, which has not been recognized as a provider of an adequate level of data protection. To ensure suitable safeguards for the protection of the transfer and processing of personal data outside the EU, data transfers to and data processing by our service providers are based on suitable safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 et seq. GDPR, in particular by concluding so-called standard data protection clauses pursuant to Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR.
7. Duration of storage of personal data
Images are archived and stored for documentation purposes; deletion is not planned. Processing is restricted accordingly.
8. Rights of Data Subjects
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- If your personal data is processed, you have the right to obtain information from the controller about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR).
- If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR).
- If the legal requirements are met, you can request the erasure or restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18 GDPR).
- If you have consented to data processing or a data processing agreement exists and the data processing is carried out using automated procedures, you may have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
- If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.
- Furthermore, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

If the legal requirements are met, you may, on grounds relating to your particular situation, object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR (Article 21 GDPR).
9. Right of withdrawal of consent
If you have consented to the processing of your data by the controller through a corresponding declaration, you can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until its withdrawal remains unaffected.
